Most orders are shipped via USPS or UPS.

APO/FPO
Standard Delivery (USPS Priority Mail) as follows:
AA, AE: $12.95 plus 18% of merchandise total.
AP: $9.95 plus 10% of merchandise total.
Note: When entering a shipping address, the city must be APO or
FPO; the state must be AA, AE or AP; the country must be USA. Premium delivery
is not available.
Premium delivery: In-stock items are normally delivered within 2 to 3
business days of order processing. Premium delivery is not available for every product;
exclusions are noted in the descriptive text.
FORMS OF PAYMENT: All prices quoted are in U.S. Dollars. We accept
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Checks/money orders, drawn on
a U.S. financial institution, are accepted for mail orders.
SALES TAX: Unless tax-exempt, we are required to collect sales
tax for deliveries in California only (please e-mail us from the "Contact Us" page
for instructions on placing an online tax-exempt order). Shipping/handling
charges are not taxable.
ORDERING BY MAIL: If you wish to order by mail and pay by
check/money order (must be drawn on a U.S. financial institution) or credit
card, please begin an online order by adding the item(s) desired to the "cart"
and proceed to checkout. Complete the shipping information page^ and print the
screen, then click "next" and enter any applicable payment information, print
the screen in landscape format then click "cancel." Mail the print
screens with your payment to SelectAlarms.com, 1334 Brommer Street - B2, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.
^For orders of $699.01 and up, the shipping/handling policy listed above
shall prevail.
UPS BILLING: Requests that shipping charges be billed to the
receiver's UPS account are subject to UPS approval. When so billed, we will
add a $5 service charge on orders having a merchandise value under $100.
RESIDENTIAL SHIPMENTS: Orders of Tattletale alarm system products
for shipment to a residential address must include a valid e-mail and phone
number; in addition, the credit card billing address (if applicable) and the
shipping address must be the same.
PRICES/CORRECTIONS: Prices are subject to change
without notice. We reserve the right to correct errors and omissions prior to
order acceptance.
RETURNS: Your complete satisfaction is our goal. All products carry a
full 30 day return privilege except for the following which are not
returnable: products which have been installed, locks which have been rekeyed, duplicate keys, special orders and close-outs. Returns exceeding $200 are subject to a 12% restocking charge.
Sorry, we do not refund shipping/handling or other surcharges nor can we accept COD
shipments. Returns are to be sent in a shipping carton, prepaid and in new resalable condition
with all parts and original consumer packaging to 1334 Brommer Street - B2, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.
DUPLICATE RECEIPTS: Our policy is to provide one receipt with
each purchase. Requests for a duplicate receipt will be
handled as follows: (1) Within 10 days of order date: A
duplicate will be provided at no cost via e-mail upon request. (2)
Later than 10 days (but within 60 days) of order date: A duplicate
will be provided at a non-refundable cost of $5 (prepaid by check or credit
card) if the requestor can supply the 18-digit order number OR the exact order
date along with the billing name and address of the purchaser. (3)
All other requests: Will be charged at the non-refundable rate of $25
per hour (minimum 1/2 hour) prepaid by check or credit card.
SUITABILITY: We offer only those products which we believe to be high quality, properly designed and well made. However, customers should make their own determination as to the suitability of a product for their particular application.
CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS: Due to our practice of prompt order fulfillment, it may not be feasible to make changes or cancellations to orders once placed. Customer order changes/cancellations, including those effected by non-acceptance of delivery, are subject to a 15% handling charge.
California Sales and Use Tax: We are not currently required to collect special local district and use taxes, other than in Santa Cruz County. We are required to collect the state wide sales tax of 7.25% for products delivered to all other California locations. Our California customers should pay the additional special local district and use taxes to the California Board of Equalization.
